Saffron Walden Community Interest Company (SWCIC)
A CIC is a limited company.
It aims to benefit the community it serves (in our case the Saffron Walden area) rather than make profits for its members.
Membership is open to anyone who supports our aims.

Our aims
The Company’s object is to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without
limitation) to promote the local production and sale of sustainable food and biomass energy.
Our aims and rules are fully explained in the SWCIC Memorandum and Articles of Associations (PDF).
Through the sale of locally grown fruit and vegetables we plan that our activities will help to increase the amount of wholesome, sustainable food grown in our countryside and also promote the wider use of locally produced wood fuel.
